MO architektur + design

The Café on the main square in Haag has been located on this site since 1904. The main aspects of the conversion were to bring light into the front dining area through the long window incision in the façade and to extend the external open spaces to the south-west with a balcony and to the main square with a new pavement café.

Renovation and attic conversion with studio, bedroom, bathroom. Careful restoration of historical details & thermal modernisation.

VILLA Baumgarten

Interior and furniture design for a modern research laboratory (1,400 m², completion 2023) with foyer, auditorium with 200 seats, public lab, catering area, offices and seminar rooms. The laboratory enables practical experiments with Danube water and brings research closer to the public.

UNI BOKU Hydraulic Engineering Lab

Barrier-free access was created by remodelling the portal. The sustainable interior design combines high-quality materials such as oiled wood, fine curtain fabrics and a new lighting concept to create a pleasant atmosphere in the waiting area. Ergonomically designed workstations also contribute to comfort.

COMMUNITY PRACTICE Tulln

Remodelling and attic conversion of a two-family house. Generous light openings and ecological materials characterise the design.

RESIDENCES on the Vineyard

Site Supervision for the conversion and refurbishment of 3 apartments in the heritage-listed Workshop Complex Mollardgasse.

WORKSHOP COMPLEX Mollardgasse

Interior design for 1,500 m² of office space with colourful office pods, cafeteria, meeting rooms and open-plan offices. Flexible meeting rooms and colourful accents create functionality and a feel-good atmosphere.

OFFICE & MED Pfizer Austria

Permanent exhibition ‘Mikrobenjagd’: MO designed the new exhibition area in collaboration with the museum. This is dedicated to the topic of hygiene with showcases in a set box design and a free-standing partition wall with seating.

VIENNA MUSEUM OF TECHNOLOGY Microbes

The kindergarten in Bad Hofgastein combines village character, a connection to nature and multifunctional group rooms for dialogue and retreat.

Exhibition Energy Transition 2023: MO is responsible for project management, tendering, awarding, and local implementation of the planning.

MUSEUM OF TECHNOLOGY Energy Transition

On the ground floor of a factory building built in 1905, two loft flats with terraces and high-quality furnishings have been refurbished.

LOFT FLATS in Schottenfeld

Functional offices with a meeting room and kitchenette were created in a former antique shop in Burggasse, 7th district of Vienna.

OFFICE BG88 in the 7th

The 19th century Haag townhouse was extensively renovated and remodelled. The traditional café on the ground floor was given a new entrance, a panoramic window and a balcony, while the upper floors were opened up with new flats and an external staircase.

TOWNHOUSE on the Main Square

The research institute offers modern workspaces and lounge areas for around 270 employees. The building includes a spacious foyer, a flexible auditorium, a cafeteria and various retreat areas.

UNI IMP Research Institute

A summer house on stilts in the floodplain of the Danube was thermally refurbished and the interior redesigned.

The redesign of the “Taste of India” restaurants included corporate design, colour concept, graphics, interior design and the design of the outdoor area.
