Vienna Museum of Technology | | Permanent exhibition: Tracking down microbes.

Opening November 2023

As part of the permanent exhibition on the topic of ‘Everyday Life’, MO has designed a new exhibition area in cooperation with the Vienna Museum of Technology. This is dedicated to the topic of hygiene.

The existing walls were partially broken up and fitted with display cases. The challenge lay in the large number of small objects – a showcase design based on a type case offers space for this. The free-standing partition wall in the centre delimits the area, accommodating display cabinets and a monitor on the one hand and providing seating for the adjacent children’s play area on the other. At the side, the bench provides a view of the exhibition.
